If Chris Evans is my favorite wrestler on the planet, Mr. Saovi himself is #2.

I wrote in my Championship Wrestling from Arizona piece that my favorite thing about CWA having a TV Show is I get to watch Johnny Saovi on TV on a regular basis.

And this guy is ready built with the style, looks and charisma for Television.

He can go in-ring too.

The Zelda inspired Saovi is sweet and smooth in the ring, and can he dab! He has a fast paced, quick hit and highly athletic style that is hard for opponents to keep up with. If he isn’t kicking out someone’s legs, then he’s hitting them with a wicked enziguri.

He is so smooth and fast it almost seems like he does both at the same time.

When Johnny gets going in a match it is a sight to behold the holds and maneuvers he can string together.



An epic cruiserweight, he could fit right in with TNA’s X Division, or make half the guys in 205 look like they are standing still.

Personally, for me, the coolest thing about Johnny is that any event I attend that he wrestles at, he always makes time to hang and talk for a bit: Usually wrestling!
